Minnesota Tea Parties Launch Statewide Effort

Emcee Walter Hudson explained the purpose of the new organization, stating North Star Tea Party Patriots serves a grassroots support role. The organization facilitates cooperation between local Tea Party groups by providing a central hub for communication, www.northstartpp.com, along with training and support for new and developing Tea Party coordinators. In addition, the organization shall host events which exceed the scope of local groups, such as the annual Tax Day Tea Party rally held outside the state capitol.
